Here are some very easy to make cocktails for an evening of entertaining. These are creations that are not only yummy but very easy to make. Try your own variation for a twist!  All the alcoholic preparations mentioned below are for adults only. Kids DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. Click on the cocktail to go to its recipe.
Shandy
Old Fashioned    Mimosa
Kahlua and Cream  Perfect Manhattan
White Russian Martini
Gimlet Tequila Sunrise 
MaiTai Long Island Ice Tea
Rusty Nail Grass Hopper
Screwdriver Irish Coffee
Shirley Temple (non-alcoholic) Cafe Mocha 
Gimlet Cocktail Frozen Cappuccino
Champagne Punch  Cold Coffee (non-alcoholic)
Black Russian Pina Colada

Shandy                                                      A great refreshing cocktail
1/2 Mug Beer - TajMahal or any other Indian beer
1/2 Mug 7-Up or Sprite
Pour and Serve Chilled. Do not stir.

Old-Fashioned                                         A smooth delightful drink
1 shot blended whiskey
1 teaspoon sugar
Dash of bitters
Splash of Seven-Up
Stir. Top with ice. Serve cold.
Top
Kahlua and Cream                                                     A great starter
1-1/2 shots coffee-flavored liqueur (Kahlua)
3 tablespoons Half'n half
Stir. Serve with or without ice.

White Russian                                                        If you like coffee
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce coffee liqueur
3-1/2 ounces half'n half or milk
Serve over ice.

Gimlet                                                          A favorite among women! 
1 shot gin
3/4 ounce lime juice
1/2 to 1 teaspoon sugar
Lime wedge
Stir and pour over ice. (You may also use Rose's Lime Juice and omit the sugar.)
Vodka Gimlet substitutes vodka for gin.

Mai Tai                                  Usually served at a Chinese restaurant.
1/2 shot rum
1/2 shot dark rum
1/4 shot Curacao
Splash of almond syrup or almond extract
Splash of grenadine
Squeeze of lime juice
Garnish: Cherry
Shake and serve over ice. Garnish with cherry.

Rusty Nail                                                                   Mellow yellow
1 ounce Drambuie
1 ounce Scotch whiskey
Serve over ice.

Screwdriver                                                    Crisp and clean flavor
1-1/2 ounces vodka
4-1/2 ounces chilled, fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Serve over ice.

Shirley Temple (Non alcoholic)                                        Kids special
Ginger ale
Dash of grenadine
Garnish: Cherry
Garnish and serve.

Gimlet Cocktail                                                   A twist to the Gimlet
2 ounces gin
2 ounces bottled lime juice
1 teaspoon sugar
Stir extremely well with ice. Strain into pre-chilled cocktail glass. Sugar frost rim of glass.

Champagne Punch                                                   Great party drink
Ice blocks or Ice cubes
juice from 12 lemons
Sugar to taste 

16 ounces brandy
8 ounces Curacao
16 ounces Soda  or Seven-up
2 bottles champagne
Fruit slices of Oranges, lemons, Limes. 
Chill all ingredients. Place ice blocks in punch bowls. Mix lemon juice with sugar to taste. Pour into punchbowl with brandy and Curacao. Let chill. Add soda water and champagne just before serving. Float fruit slices in the bowl.
Yield: 30 servings.

Black Russian                                              A Great one for a coffee lover!
1-1/2 ounces vodka
3/4 ounce coffee liqueur
Shake well and serve over ice.

Pina Colada                                                                              Aloha!
1-1/2 shots rum
2 ounces coconut milk
4 ounces pineapple juice
Garnish: Cherry or mint sprig
Blend with ice and garnish.

Mimosa                                                         If orange is your flavor!
1-1/2 ounces fresh orange juice
Chilled champagne
Pour orange juice into chilled flute, add champagne.

Perfect Manhattan                                                       Crisp and light
1 shot blended whiskey
Dash of dry vermouth
Dash of sweet vermouth
Garnish: cherry
Stir and garnish.

Martini                                                              The 007 Bond drink
If it's on the rocks, add ice.
1-1/2 shots gin
Dash of dry vermouth
Desired garnish
Stir and garnish.
If it's straight up, fill shaker with ice, and fill with:
1-1/2 shots gin
Dash of dry vermouth
Desired garnish
Stir and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish.

Tequila Sunrise                                                    Delicately flavored
3/4 shot tequila
Fresh orange juice
Dash of grenadine
Stir. serve chilled.

Long Island Iced Tea                               For the hot summer nights
1/2 shot gin
1/2 shot rum
1/2 shot tequila
1/2 shot vodka
Sour mix
Splash of triple sec
Splash of cola
Garnish: Lemon slice
Garnish and serve on ice.

Grasshopper                                                           Green and Minty
1 ounce heavy cream
1 ounce green crème de menthe
1 ounce white crème de cacao
Stir and strain through crushed ice into a chilled glass.
Top
Irish Coffee                                                       Great After dinner!
1 shot Irish whiskey
1 teaspoon sugar
Black coffee
Whipped cream
Mix whiskey and sugar. Add coffee to within 1/2 inch of rim, top with whipped cream.  You can also pour half'n half if desired.

Cafe Mocha                                                         After dinner drink
Hot coffee
Hot chocolate
Whipped cream
Cocoa powder
Mix coffee and chocolate. Serve garnished with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.

Frozen Cappuccino                                                       Great Cooler
1/2 shot Irish cream
1/4 shot coffee liqueur
1/4 shot hazelnut liqueur (Frangelico)
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Splash of cream
Place in blender with 1/2 cup of ice and blend until smooth.
Top

Cold Coffee (Non-Alcoholic)                     Kids love it on a hot day! 

1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup crushed ice
3 teaspoons sugar or Sugar substitute
1 teaspoon of your favorite instant coffee(caffineated or de-caffinated)
Blend at high speed till frothy
Serve chilled. Top with 1 scoop of vanilla bean ice-cream.
